Mari Teigen is a Professor at the Institute for Social Research in Norway. She is head of the Centre for Research on Gender Equality at the Institute, which conducts research in various areas including gender equality and career, gender-segregated labour market, family and gender equality policy, the working life of the future, and gender balance in academia. Her research engages with change and stability in gender relations, through analysis of gender equality policy; social elites, gender segregation in the labour market and in academia. Mari has been a member of various committees, including a governmental one on equality, and editorial and research boards.
