Saara is a PhD fellow at Tallin University, where she also works as a researcher at the Centre for Landscape and Culture. Combining her background in photography and ethnology, her research is based on ethnographic methods of participant-observation, interviews, and visual anthropology, and informed by theories of landscape studies.
