Young people have looked beyond the usual narratives of what 'Nordic' means to discover new things about Nordic society, history and culture. They have achieved this by asking researchers to explain their work through the prism of an object, event or concept.

The young people and researchers in this film came from the universities of Aarhus, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Södertörn, and Bergen Private Gymnasium. The films were recorded at different locations around the Nordic countries.
