Sunniva Engh is an Associate Professor of history at the Department of Archeology, Conservation and History, Oslo University. Her research interests include Norwegian and Nordic foreign policy and international engagement, the idea of the 'Nordic Model' in international politics and development aid, the international history of aid and development with particular emphasis on population policy and global health, India's foreign and security policy, and Myanmar and great power relations in Asia. She is the lead of a part of the Nordic Civil Societies research group at UiO:Nordic called ‘Beyond the Nordic: Civil Societies, Transnational Political Activism and Global Encounters’.
