Yulia Gradskova is an Associate Professor in history and Research Associate at the Center for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES), Södertörn University. Her research interests include Soviet and post-Soviet gender and social history, and most recently the subject of this podcast The Women’s International Democratic Federation (a transnational organization which was most influential between 1945 and 1990). She speaks Russian, Spanish, English and Swedish and published the book The Women’s International Democratic Federation, the Global South and the Cold War in 2021.
