Anu Printsman is a human and cultural geographer and a cartographer working currently as a landscape researcher for the Centre for Landscape and Culture in School of Humanities at the Tallinn University, Estonia. Anu studies landscapes as expressions of the human-environment relationship by mixing human, cultural, historical and moral geography with GIS and oral histories. One strand of her research focuses on Estonian maritime culture, its persistence through the period of the Soviet iron curtain, current processes of Maritime Spatial Planning and its participatory aspects, the Sustainable Blue Economy and offshore windfarms.
