Ainur Elmgren is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Philosophy, History and Art Studies at the University of Helsinki, Finland. Her fields of interest include the history of civil and minority rights, the development of political concepts, and the political culture of the Nordic welfare states. She is a member of the research project “Minorities, the Nation and the World: Swedish-speaking and Jewish Intellectuals in Finland and the International Community (1880-1980)”, financed by the Academy of Finland.
