Professor of Nordic Literature, University of Southern Denmark. She received her lic.phil from the University of Aarhus. Her books and articles have focused on Nordic literary history, the poetics of the American and European beat generation and contemporary world literature. She is the PI of the research project, Uses of Literature: The social dimension of literature, and has among other books published Danish Literature in the 20th and early 21st century (2017). She is the co-editor of The History of Nordic Women’s literature, vol. 1-6 and has edited a new volume on Nordic women’s literature 2017: Nordisk kvindelitteraturhistorie: Over alle grænser 1990-2015
