Dr. Elsi Hyttinen is a senior researcher at the School of History, Culture and Arts Studies at the University of Turku, Finland. Her fields of interest include working-class literature, early 20th century Finnish fiction, contemporary drama, and queer and posthumanist theory. She is currently a member of the research project Kirjallisia murroksia / Turning points in Finnish Literature, financed by the University of Turku, and is writing a monograph on queerness in 1910s' literature in Finland.
