Mercédesz Czimbalmos is a doctoral candidate in Comparative Religion at Åbo Akademi University. Her doctoral research focuses on discourses around intermarriage and conversion among Finnish Jewry, relating it to research on changing values in and religious outlooks of contemporary Scandinavia.
